These terms and conditions are applicable for all clients of www.numberone.is, and affiliated companies and websites of Iceland Horizon, the owner of www.numberone.is. Website Conditions
By using www.numberone.is or any Numberone affiliated website, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately.
If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following Terms & Conditions, please do not use Numberone or affiliated websites.
Numberone may change these Terms & Conditions at any time by posting changes online. Please review these Terms & Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Numberone. Your continued use of numberone.is or a Numberone-affiliated websites after changes are posted, means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
You agree to use numberone.is and Numberone-affiliated websites only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of Numberone.
Your use of numberone.is or any Numberone-affiliated sites is intended for personal, use and/or to make legitimate requests to book the products or services offered, or sell the services you offer. You agree not to use this site to make any speculative, false or fraudulent requests. You agree not to use robots or other automated means to access this site, unless specifically permitted by Numberone.
You represent and warrant that you (a) have not previously been suspended by Numberone or otherwise banned from the site; (b) are not a direct competitor of Numberone; (c) do not have more than one Numberone account at any given time; and (d) that you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms of Service and in doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.
We grant you permission to use the site subject to the restrictions in these Terms & Conditions. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use content owned by Numberone (inclusive of text, images, URLs, pricing information, etc.) in any way except for your own personal use. Any commercial use of Numberone content requires the prior written permission of Numberone. Booking Conditions
Day Tours
Numberone confirms a booking from numberone.is when a booking has been made by a client. Once Numberone has accepted a booking, the contract between Numberone and client will become binding. The client is bound to show up at the departure point at published time and pay the rest of the tour fee, and Numberone is bound to deliver the tour. Conditions on cancelling can be found below. Client Responsibility
Upon booking you confirm that you have studied and familiarized yourself with the terms and conditions of Numberone and fully agree to all terms and conditions. You also confirm that you fulfill all conditions set by Numberone and are physically able to follow our instructions and partake in all activities planned for you and operated by us. If unsure please contact our office.
Parents and/or legal guardians take full responsibility of damages caused by passengers they are responsible for. Children (under 18 years in accordance of Icelandic law) cannot use the services of Numberone without accompanying parent or legal guardian. Our Liability & Compensation
Numberone will accept liability for the negligence of its employees causing direct physical injury to passengers only to the extent that it is obliged under Icelandic law. Numberone cannot be held responsible for any mishap to yourself or your property, and in particular for the consequences of flight cancellations, vehicle accidents, strikes, sickness, Government, customs or police intervention or other such happenings amounting to force majeure. By confirming your booking with Numberone you acknowledge that we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard our liability in this respect. Numberone reserves the right to suspend passengers from the tours if the passengers are inebriated or show unacceptable or improper behavior. Cancellation Policies
Day Tour and Private Tour cancellation policies
The client is able to cancel the tour up until 24 hours prior to departure. The cancellation fee is 10% of the tour fee, to cover cost of booking. Shore Excursions Cancellation fee
For the cruise ships, the cancellation policy does not apply if the ship does not make it to the harbor. In case of the ship not reaching the pier, you’ll receive a full refund without cancellation fee. Otherwise normal cancellation fee for day tours applies. Changes and Cancellations by Numberone
Before you enter into a contract with us, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities or services described in our brochure or website. We also reserve the right to cancel the booking do to weather or if minimum number of passengers of a departure is not met. Any changes are usually very minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If a major change, such as change in departure time, becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible your tours begins. When a major change or cancellation occurs you will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing another available tour from us, or cancelling your tour. If booking is cancelled we will refund all payments made directly to us in respect of the tour price. We will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flight payments for land-only tours, travel insurance, equipment purchases, visas, vaccinations etc. Change Fees
If a client requests a change of itinerary for a confirmed booking, we will not charge a fee, other than the price difference of services provided. If the fee is less, we will refund the difference, excluding the deposit fee.
